Caminito Street is a short street in La Boca, district of Buenos Aires.
The area covered by Caminito Street was once the route of a small stream that flowed into the Riachuelo River. After it dried up, railway tracks were installed and remained until 1954, when the railway closed.

It was then that Caminito Street assumed its distinctive traits, as we see it today: Argentine artist Benito Quinquela Martin applied pastel colours on the walls facing the abandoned street, and had the wooden-plak stage replaced with a theatre house.

Buenos Aires architecture has deep European roots, particularly as for the Spanish, French and Italian styles, which have exerted a notable influence over the centuries.

La Boca is a district located in the south-east area of Buenos Aires, characterized by the vibrant colours of the buildings: purple, yellow, green and red.

A most interesting tourist attraction in La Boca is the Clara Chevalier Museum, which includes a guided tour by the owner and manager, Ms. Chevalier. the Oriental Garden, that holds African palms and brackens, European oaks and hazelnut trees, Asian Ginkgo Biloba, and Australian Eucalyptus and Acacias;
